Back into the school routine...

Time for me to really buckle down and finish out my last semester of high school. EVER. I am SO excited for college (although it still remains to be seen WHERE I'll go... BYU hasn't sent out their decisions yet...). I am just ready to get up and out of the house and finally get to go do something with my life. But first I have to survive this home stretch... and that includes tomorrow, which is Valentine's Day. Or as I like to call it, Forever Alone Day.

^ Me
I still don't know if I'm going to attempt doing something for anyone at all tomorrow... I guess we'll just see what I can make/come up with tonight. I do want to try making some of these cute heart shaped macaroons... JK I probs will never be able to make them.

Maybe I'll just bring a bag of candy and pass it out...

Candy for everyone!

I love Valentine's Day candy

YES PLEASE

What a special day

I told Parker that I'd blow up the internet celebrating his 18th birthday, so here I am, posting on my blog for it. This boy is my best friend, one of those once in a lifetime friends that you need to grab and run with. We've been friends for 11 years (and counting!) and I am literally so amazed that I was blessed enough to have him in my life. You see, girls can always have a bunch of girlfriends, but not everyone is able to have a boy in her life that she can tell everything to (ok well ALMOST everything) and is able to be absolutely insane with. We've had our weird times:

Our super cute times:

Our adventurous times:

And everything else in between

And through it all we're still best friends.
Love you, Parker!
Happy 18th :)

Updates

Okay, so I KNOW I said I'd post after midterms were over... and this is me posting (a couple weeks) after midterms are over! :) Not that much has happened, but I will update you on the things that did (DUH Hannah). So last weekend, February 3rd, 4th, and 5th, we had our district swim meet. I swam the 200 free and the 500 free and 2 relays. I dropped just about a second in the 200, but 7 in the 500! I was so excited! I was scheduled at the beginning to swim in the 400 free relay, but not the 200. One of the girls on that relay team missed her event, therefore disqualifying her from the rest of the meet. They stuck me in, and we (seated 5th) got the fourth place finish we needed to go to Regionals! :) So THIS weekend was District Chorus and Regionals for swimming. I was able to attend DC for most of the day Friday, try out for All-State Choir, then left and went to swim. I'm so glad I did, since we did better than we ever had before! On Saturday I went back to chorus and was able to have a very enjoyable time with a bunch of FABULOUS singers. I also found out I made 2nd alternate for the All-State Choir! I'm really excited about that because I had lost my voice on Wednesday and Thursday and didn't even think I could do it. So there you go, an update on what I've been doing since midterms. Not THAT great, but since no one reads this anyways, I thought I'd take my chances:)
